Judgment of the High Court in Samuel Smith v Cropton Brewery
On 22nd July 2011 The High Court of England and Wales held that Philip Lee (trading as "Cropton Brewery") had infringed Samuel Smith's UK registered trade mark number 1006751 and had commited the tort of passing off by the sale and supply of "Yorkshire Warrior" beer under a label bearing a stylised white rose device.
