A full bodied powerful brew, dark brown with a very distinct malty flavour using finest crushed pale, crystal and roasted malts, which combine perfectly with Kent Challenger and Goldings hops. Very strong and extremely moreish.
Named after Mr. Monkman who grows the malt, and Mr. Slaughter our brewer and chemist. Unwittingly we have given the two chaps an ideal alibi: they now feel duty bound to sit at the end of the bar and check that the end product is worthy of their names! 6.0%ABV
